Our story
Since 1983, The Better Cheddar has been offering its wide selection of cheese and other specialty foods in two locations in the Kansas City area. We are committed to bringing American artisan and farmstead cheeses as well as the greats from across Europe to our customers. In 2003 we were named one of the top five retailers of the year by the Specialty Food Association. This national award solidified what customers in the Kansas City area already knew. The Better Cheddar is the destination for cheese and specialty food lovers in the Midwest.
